Chief William Carrico

YOUR FIRE CHIEF SINCE May 2018

Chief William C. Carrico II joined the fire service in 1999 as a firefighter/EMT with the Duxbury Fire Department.  After serving as a firefighter/EMT for 7 years, he transitioned into the role of Administrative Deputy Chief for Duxbury in 2006 and later became the Fire Chief in 2009. Chief Carrico has been the Fire Chief with the town of Medfield since 2018.

  • Past Fire Chief for the towns of Halifax and Sandwich.
  • A graduate of the National Fire Academy Executive Fire Officer Program, BA in Fire Science from Anna Maria
  • Massachusetts Paramedic
  • ProBoard certifications Firefighter 1&2, Fire Officer 1 thru 4, Fire Inspector 1 & 2, and Fire Safety Officer.
